End of the Line

THE START OF THE UPLOAD MARATHON BEGINS WITH EVEN MORE FOXES OF FIRSTDARK STUFF YAAAAAY
I say "even more" because I just uploaded one of my more lacking pieces of fanart for it to my scraps.

Well, considering the tragedy that just happened in my family not too long ago, I decided to upload my more depressing pictures first. I promise I'm not emo or screwy or anything, I just enjoy drawing powerful scenes, regardless of their mood. This particular picture is (SPOILERS) the bittersweet ending of Foxes of Firstdark, which is, once again, one of my favorite books as of late. Bitter because our beloved heroine, O-Ha, has reached the end of her life, but sweet because we get to see past characters that we cherished just as much when she reaches the Perfect There such as Gar. It's a sort of Shakespearean ending: there's quite the sting, but it does leave a glimmer of hope and/or warmth that things are going to be okay.
Rest in peace, O-Ha, you had a good run.
